ASTM E1038: This test method is used for determining the ability of photovoltaic modules to withstand impact forces of falling hail. Propelled ice balls are used to simulate falling hailstones. This test method can be used with various sizes of ice balls.

ANSI FM 4473: This is an impact resistance test standard for testing rigid roofing materials by impacting them with freezer ice balls.
