For mill and internal mixer compounds, all other ingredients must be weighed with an accuracy of ±0.01 g or less, and for small internal mixer compounds, with an accuracy of ±0.01 g. |

| Preparing vulcanized sheets | The sheeted compound is conditioned for one to twenty-four hours at 23±3°C (73.4±5.4°F) with a relative humidity of no more than fifty percent. For best precision, conditioning is done for 1 to 24 h in a closed vessel to prevent absorption of humidity from the air, or in an environment regulated at 35±5 % relative humidity. |
